Robyn's Fetish Challenge # 114 distressing on card

Hello, Today's challenge at Robyn's Fetish is distressing on your card. The sponsor for the challenge is Delicious Doodles. The image I am using is called Under The Sea Corner by Delicious Doodles. It can be found here  http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.com/The prize for the winner is 4 digital stamps of the winners choice.

   Copics used are E01, E11, E33- sponge, G07, G28, YG06, YG37-seaweed, YG04, YG07, YG01- fish, YR23, Y17, Y15, Y13, Y04, Y00-bubble pipes, R27, R35, R59-red coral, Bg11, BG13 and stardust clear Gelly Roll Pen-bubbles, RV02 and Rose Gelly Roll pen-pink coral.Gold Metallic Gelly roll pen on gold coral. stardust clear Gelly Roll pen was used on the fish and bubbles, also the cut out bubbles. Sentiment-copics  B02, B04.

I cut the paper the image is on deckled scissors. i then used a blending tool to ink the paper around the image using Tim Holtz Peacock Blue Distressing ink.  I then inked the edges of the paper.

I cut a piece of Bassill Evening Surf paper at 5" x 6 1/2". Then using the fish embossing folder from the Asian Bundle from Cuttlebug.  I ran it through 3 times to get a good strong imprint. Then I sanded the design. *As the embossing folder is an A2 I had to line up the design and run it through to cover the whole piece of cardstock.

The sentiment is by Crafty Cat 957. You can find it here.   http://craftycat957.blogspot.com/

The little bubbles leading from the embossed fish to the sentiment are made by coloring a small piece of white cardstock with Copic B02, then using a hole punch to punch them out. I then added a highlight to them with Stardust clear Gelly Roll pen.

Thank you for dropping by to enjoy the sea. Have a lovely day. Edwina
