Fire and Ice Blog Hop

This hop is based on the famous poem "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost. Even though the poem is of the humankind's demise, Jearise, our hostess, still loves it. She says every time she hears the title she thinks of blues and reds so she thought why not have a blog hop based on those colors?

Our wonderful crafters have created projects using either shades of red or shades of blue or they have jumped right in and combined the two colors. You'll have to hop along to see which way they went. Don't you just love playing the guessing game while hopping.

Jearise in Lorby's World, who is our hostess, will have blog candy so make sure you start hopping from her blog so you know how to qualify.

I chose to use Blue and white on my projects.

I made two 6" x 6" mini Scrapbook pages. The flowers are punched out using 3 different sizes Recollections daisy punches.

The first page I used papers by Georgia Pacific- white and blue, Recollections medium and dark blue, and print, Stampin Up blue-green.
The Second page I used papers by Georgia Pacific- white and small blue flower, Recollections- the medium and dark blue. The print is by DCWV.

The pearls are From Miriam's Crafting supplies. You can find her store here- https://www.facebook.com/MiriamsCraftingSupplies

The journal lines and vine for flowers are done using blue Gelly Roll pen.

I curled the flowers before putting them together. I used Scothch Quick dry glue to put the flowers together. a pop dot to attach the pearls.

The second page I added iridescent glitter to the flowers.

Now please continue on to Lucy

In this blog hop you will create anything that has shades of blue or shades of red.
