Mardi Gras Blog Hop

Welcome to Shake Those TaTa's - Its Mardi Gras Time!!!! Fat Tuesday!!!!!We had such a great parade last year and thought we need to do it again! Let's throw some beads off the floats, get our masks on and party like we've never partied before.

Here are my projects for you.

I chose to do cards that had to do with the Music. Saxophones is New Orleans to me. It says a good time. I love the sound of a saxophone. So I found 2 images and paper.

I colored both images with Copics. 
The 1st card- E000, E00, E01, E02- skin, E33, E37, E95- hair, W1, W3, W5, W7-suit, YG06- tie, YR24, Y13, Y15, Y17- saxophone, E04- lips, E31, E33- strap. Also used Gold Metallic Gelly Roll pen on the circle, and Prisma colored pencil 901 9Indigo on the background.
2nd card- YR24, Y13, Y15, Y17- saxophone, E000, E00, E31- banner. red Metallic Gelly Roll pen was used on the hearts.

!st card- The papers are by free Vintage digis- music notes paper, Scrap Swap- the stripe and other print, Recollections- black, Georgia Pacific- white. The dots are Paper Candi by Craftworks.

2nd card - The ribbon was given to me from a friend who works at saxs 5th ave in the Mall. Thank you Mary. The white music notes are punched out using a Recollections punch. The sentiment is pop dotted up.The frame is made by cutting out a rectangle and using a Fiskars corner punch on the corners. The papers are by Recollections- pink and black, Georgia Pacific- white, Free Vintage digis- music not paper.
