Gather your supplies and set up your work station.

Cut your cardstock to 5" x 8 1/2"

Note: I tried this later and it is much easier to do it now. Score the cardstock 1/2" on both of the long sides. If you forget don't worry you can do it at the very end. I'll show you then too.

Using Scrappy tape or Score tape put it around the edges of the 2 long sides and one of the short sides.

Remove the backing on the tape.

Roll your paper up into a roll, sticking the seam onto the outside of the edge that does not have tape.  You need about 1/4" overlap. Press the seam together.

Press the one end together by lining up the center of the bottom so the back seam is in the very middle.

Continue to press the bottom seam together pressing from the center outwards to the end.

This is how it should look.

This will hold about 10 pieces of mini candy bars.

Add the candy being sure not to touch the tape.

This is how it should look when you have added enough candy. Do not over fill.

Now line the seams up so that the back seam is on the corner. Press it together first in the center.

Work out to the ends pressing down as you go to seal the seam.

Here is where you score the two ends if you did not do it earlier. Score 1/2" over on each end.

This is how it should look at this point.

Decorate as it pleases you. I used 3" - 3 1/2" digis from Robyn's Fetish with my other embellishments. The digis are "Willow da Witch," "Mark Mummy," "Franky Frankenstein," "Five Pumpkin Friends" and "Scawey Ghost." You can find them here

Here are the finished candy containers.

Note: you can make these smaller by using a piece of cardstock 5 1/2" x 4" Follow the above directions. Scrawey Ghost is perfect for this size container as you do not need to color him. Make him about1 1/4" - 1 1/2" high. Add 3-4 pieces of candy to them. These are perfect to give at Halloween. This photo shows the difference in size

Here are 2 Halloween cards I made using the same digis.  The card on the right is a Double Gatefold card.

Here is the Double Gatefold card opened up.

The sentiments I used are by Create With TLC. You can find them here .

The dot and stripe papers on the cards are by Free Vintage Digitals. You can find them here

Thank you so much for joining me for Halloween. I hope you have a Happy, Fun, and Safe Halloween. See you again next time . Edwina
