Thanksgiving card

  Close up of sentiment.

Hello, Today I am using digis by Robyn's Fetish called "Pilgrim Man", "Pilgrim Gal", and "Corn 1 n 2". You can find them here http://robynsfetish.com/shop .

Copics used are E000, E00, E01, E02- skin, YR21, YR24, Y21- hair, ( E41, E43, E44, E47, E0000, E000, C3, C5, C7, C10)- Pilgrim Gal's clothing, (W1, W3, W5, W7, W10, E0000, E00, E31, E33, E37)- Pilgrim man's clothing, YG03, YG93, YG95, YG97- corn shucks, Y02, Y15, Y17- corn.

Silver Metallic Gelly Roll pen was used on the buckles.

The ribbon is by Offray.

The gems are by Mark Richards.

I drew the circles for the card by drawing around a large plastic lid. I then fussy cut out all the circles.

The papers are by DCWV- light olive, Stampin Up- orange print, Recollections- olive, Georgia Pacific- white.

The card is 5 1/2" diameter.

  2. Hi Edwina: This creation is just lovely! Cards that have circles have a certain appeal all their own and you have managed to not only create a card with a circle but to skillfully lay it with the base. This is not so easy to accomplish (but one who knows how might think it is!!!) It looks very impressive to me (who has never made a card like this.) Edwina, the ribbon around your card is a magical touch. Gosh, there is so much that is magical about your card. I so love your image. That attracted me the second I saw the thumbnail on our challenge. Your coloring is stellar and I really love that you have given all the details about how you colored. It is so helpful for people who are interested in achieving the same mastery as you have. I love how you have tied in so many words of grace - blessing, thankfulness, our seasons and thanksgiving itself. This is just a really wonderful card. You really brought it home for our challenge at The Path of Positivity. Thanks so much for coming over and entering your card Edwina. We are all the richer for it! Soulfully Yours, Samara DT POPC

  6. Hey Edwina,

What a really creative card. I especially like how you have framed the top of the card with the second image that you used--the corn. What a great way to showcase the image. Your pilgrims are stinkin' adorable too!

This month is the perfect time to be creating cards that express thankfulness with Thanksgiving being in the US so I am glad that you had the opportunity to join us again this month on the Path of Positivity. It is always nice to see your wonderful creations.

May you always have something to be thankful for!
