Hello and welcome to the first ever Holiday Hoopla Treasure Hunt brought to you by the team of Fresh Brewed Designs.

It is time for the third clue.

If you missed the first two stops, please go HERE (http://freshbreweddesigns.blogspot.com/2013/12/holiday-hoopla-treasure-hunt.html in case the link doesn't work) and start from the beginning to ensure that you understand how to play along and get all the clues you will need to participate.

Clue #3
  • Go to the Fresh Brewed Designs Store at http://www.freshbreweddesigns.com/
  • Click on Digital Stamps (left), scroll down and click on Winter / Christmas / New Year from the choices provided.
  • Click to enter the Christmas section.
  • What is the name of the image in the first column, ninth row down
What is the third letter in this image's name?  Take that letter and write it down.  This is your third of nine letters.

_?_    _?_    _?_    ___    ___    ___    ___    ___    ___

You now have the first three letters of your blanks filled in.

To help you find the correct image in the store, I have created a project to showcase it...

I have a Couple of projects to share with you to make it easier with your clue. First I have a card and then a 12" x 12" scrapbook layout.

Copics used are R22, R29, R35, R56- reds, YG03, YG91,YG93, YG95, YG97- tree, E31, E33, E57- tree trunk, RV00, RV02, RV06- pinks, Y13, Y15, Y17- yellows, B00, B01, B05- blues, V04, V06, V08- purples.

I used Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen on the decorations on the tree.

I printed and colored 5 of the digi. I marked each layer so I would know what parts to color. I colored all of the first. Then I colored the 4 top layers of then tree, next the top 3 layers, then the top 2 layers, and last the top layer. Once the tree was colored. I cut out the different layers I needed. Then I pop dotted them making a 3-D tree. Then I glued the tree to my card.

The embossing is done using Cuttlebug embossing folder Winter Trees.

The ribbon is by Offray.

The gems are by Creatology.

The border was made using a Martha Steward border punch.

The papers are by Bazzill- green, Recollections- red, Georgia Pacific- white.

The card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

The Scrapbook layout is 12" x 12"

  4. I realize I'm repeating what Rhonda said but 'oh my goodness' was the first thing that popped into my head. The second was 'that tree really rocks'. I'll have to keep your technique in mind when I go to use this image because it looks fabulous. Wonderful embossing and cool die cut as well. Thanks so much for being part of the treasure hunt!
