Fresh Brewed Designs Digi Release Blog Hop 04/14/2014

Welcome to Fresh Brewed Designs April Blog Hop and New Digi Release!
Your first hop stop is at  Freshly Brewed Challenges.
If you have already visited and are arriving
here from Kim's blog, then you are right on track!

We are so happy to have you visiting with us today.

We have been waiting for this hop, and season change, for some time now!
Birds are singing, kids are riding bikes around the neighborhood, pollen has covered everything,
bees are busy buzzing around newly bloomed flowers  ... SPRING IS HERE!

First card.

Outside of card second card

Inside of second card. The left side is white card stock to write a message on.

I am using "Daffodil" by Fresh Brewed Designs. You can find her in the store here

1st card:

Copics used are E000, E00, E01, R20- skin, YR21, YR24, YR31, Y00- hair, YG61, YG63, YG67- hat and apron, RV10, RV13, RV21, RV23- dress and hatband, B000, B01, B04- flowers and butterfly, YG03, YG93, YG95- leaves and stem.

The flowers are by Recollections. I added pearls to the centers. The pearls are from Miriam's Crafting Supplies. You can find them here

The leaves are a soft thin plastic. I bought it from a gift store to use on cards. It was a candle ring.

The border is made using a Martha Stewart border punch called Embossed Zigzag.

The embossing folders are by Darice called Dots Background and Flowers and Vines Pattern. I used Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen on the inside of the flowers.

Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen was also used on the zigzag and the edges of the leaves.

Green marker was used to draw the vines to the flowers and the stitching.

The card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

2nd card:

Copics used are E000, E00, E01, R20- skin, E41, E43, E44, E47- hair, Y0000, Y000, Y00, Y02- apron and hat, B000, B00, B01, B02, B04- dress and hatband, YG03, YG93, YG95- leaves and stem, RV00, RV02, RV04- flowers.

I used a scalloped circle die by Spellbinders to cut out the space for the girl's face to show.

The embossinf folders used are by Darice called Dots Background and Flowers and Vines Pattern.

The border punch is by Martha Stewart called Traditional Scallop.

The sentiment is my own typed on the computer.

The card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

The papers used for my cards are by Bazzill- light green, green, Recollections- pink, blue, light olive, yellow,  Georgia Pacific- white.
