How to make Hot Cocoa Pouches to give as gifts Part Two 01/17/2014

How to make Hot Cocoa Pouches to give as gifts part 2

Today I will be showing you how to make two more hot cocoa pouches to give as gifts, party favors, stocking stuffer, as a Thank you or, even for a get well. These are fun and easy to do.

Supplies needed:
Hot Cocoa packages- I used Swiss Miss, and Nestle
Card Stock- Recollections- blue, red, green, purple, Georgia Pacific- white
Snowflake papers are digital by Imagine That, and Bearly Mine Designs.  note: I will include the link for both at the bottom of my post.
hole punch
paper trimmer
score board
 scissors
Adhesive double sided strong tape- Provo Craft
ATG runner
Pop Dots
ribbon- Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the American Ribbon Company
Corner Rounder- Creative Memories

Other Supplies needed:
Digis
Copics or other medium to color your digis.
lace- Hancock Fabrics
Gems and Pearls- Recollections
snowflakes with gem centers- Jolees Boutique
flocking- Recollections- green
Glitter- Recollections- purple, blue, iridescent
iridescent Glitter Glue- Walmart brand
Sparkle Fibers- pink color- Iced Grapefruit by Clearsnap holdings Inc.
Gelly Roll pens
toothpick for sign
glue- Scotch Quick Dry Glue
Die cuts for sentiments- Spellbinders - (Labels Eight)

Gather your supplies and set up your work station.
Using your paper trimmer cut your card stock at 11" x 4 1/4". Cut your print at 4" x 4".

Score the card stock at 5 1/2" and 10"

Fold the 5 1/2" score line and give it a crisp fold with the bone folder.

Fold the 10" score line facing out to you. Use the bone folder to give a crisp fold.

Using strong double sided adhesive tape place it along both sides as shown. press it down making sure it adheres good.

Using your corner rounder, round off all 4 corners.

Remove the backing on the double sided tape. Fold your pouch and press the edges to get a strong seal.

Using your adhesive runner place adhesive on all 4 sides of the printed paper.

Place it on the front of the pouch making sure you have a 1/8" border on the sides and bottom.  as shown.

Use your adhesive runner and place adhesive on the 1" flap.

Fold it down and press into place. Now decorate the front of your pouch.

Fold over the edges of the hot coco package. This will help it fit into the pouch and looks neater too.

This is how it should look.

I am making 2 sizes of this hot cocoa pouch because my design is bigger and I want it to fit.
Measurements of paper for both sizes.
11" x 4 1/4" makes a 4 1/4' x 5 1/4" pouch.
11" x 5 1/2" makes a 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" pouch.

Score your card stock at 4 3/4" and 10".

Oops! I changed papers. This one is by Bearly Mine Designs. The other prints are by Imagine That.

Fold over the 4 3/4" score line and give it a crisp fold with the bone folder.

Fold over the 10" score line and give it a crisp fold with the bone folder.
