How to make a double Gatefold Card Tutorial

Hello, Today I am using 3 sets from Imagine That! Digis by Kris. I am using the outline digis from the "Bee Boy" and the "Bee Girl" digis sets. I am also using the digital papers and sentiments from the "Bees Knees" digital set. You can find these sets here http://www.imaginethatdigistamp.com/index.html.

Supplies needed:
Card Stock- Recollections- yellow 12" long
Foam dots
ATG runner
Scissors
Score board and bone folder
 paper trimmer- Fiskars
Wild Orchid Crafts mulberry leaves
Cuttlebug and Darice Nesting Rectangles Die
Digis, sentiments, and digital papers
Copics or other coloring medium
Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen

Cut the yellow card stop at 12" x 5 1/2"

Score the card stock at 2", 4", 8", and 10".

Fold the score lines and firmly crease them as shown. You should have a mountain valley, valley, and mountain fold. Set this aside for now. It is your card base.

Cut a piece of card stock or designer paper at 5 1/4" x 3 3/4" (black hexagon paper.) This is your mat for the inside panel. Now cut a piece of paper at 5" x 3 1/2" (bee sentiment paper.)

Cut 4 mat pieces at 5 1/4" x 1 3/4"(black hexagon paper.) Cut a total of four pieces 2 of 2 different prints at 1 1/2" x 5"( stripe paper and flower/bee paper.)

Using your ATG runner or other glue adhere the the smaller paper pieces to mat pieces as shown.

Adhere the panels to your card base. Starting with the middle section. Place it so there is a 1/8" border around it in it's section of yellow card stock. Then line up the bottom of the panels on each side of it with the middle section making sure you have a 1/8" border around them in their section.
Once you have those 3 panels on then add the outside 2 panels lining the corners up with the previous panels. You want them to all be on a straight line.

Choose your digis and sentiment. I am using the outline digis and colored them with Copics.
Once the images are colored chose the one for the outside of your card and cut it out with a die. I used "Bee Boy."
Then cut out the rest of your digis with scissors.
Cut out with the paper trimmer your sentiment and mat it with the paper you choose for your mat.

Adhere the sentiment to the middle section of your card.
Note: You can either make a big sentiment to cover most of this spot or make it small and add another digi.
Add adhesive to back half of the die cut digi that will be on the the far left panel. DO NOT add adhesive to the whole die cut.

This photo shows you how it should look on the back side of the die cut. Half of it is not glued down.

Add embellishments or other digis as embellishments to decorate the front of your card. Make sure that whatever you place on the far right panel is either hidden by the die cut or looks like part of the design.

My bee hive sticks out at the bottom. It looks like the bee flew out of the hive.

Now add an inside digi with your sentiment. Make sure that all glue is dry before folding close.

The card measures 12" x 5 1/2" opened up and 4" x 5 1/2" folded up. It fits a standard envelope.
