Hello, Today our theme at 12 Months of Christmas Link Up is "Oh Christmas Tree." The digi I am using is by Fresh Brewed Designs called "1860 Striped Tree." You can find it here http://www.freshbreweddesigns.com/item_1145/Striped-Tree.htm. Fresh Brewed Designs is our sponsor this month. The winner gets 3 digital stamps of their choice from the Fresh Brewed Designs store. You can find the Fresh Brewed Designs Store here http://www.freshbreweddesigns.com/.
In order to have a chance to win the prize from our wonderful guest sponsor this month, we want to see a decorated Christmas Tree somewhere on your card. Baubles, glass ornaments, twinkling lights, garland, tinsel and even strips of popcorn are popular choices. We can't wait to see what your decorated tree will look like! If you do follow the optional theme, be sure to add FT after your name so that we include you in the draw for the prize.
Remember, you don't need to follow the theme to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month, and have your name thrown into the year end draw for some extra digital goodies. You only need to follow the theme if you want a chance to win this month's sponsored prize of 3 digital stamps from Fresh Brewed Designs.
I paper pieced the digi for my cards using 5 shades of olive card stock and a brown for the trunk of the tree. I used gold glitter by Creatology on the stars.
The gems are by Recollections- red, green, blue, purple, Bo Bunny- lime.
The banner was punched out using a punch by Stampin Up. I hand wrote the sentiment NOEL on it with a white Gelly Roll Pen.
The poem on my card is my own made for this card. Please do not copy my poem without my permission.
The O Christmas Tree sentiment I typed on the computer using Monotype Corsiva Font.I inked the sentiment with a Studio g olive ink pad.
Papers used are by Recollections- 5 shades of olive, brown, green, light green, red, deep red, and Decosse's Dynamite Doodles- digital tree papers- "Treemendous"- http://decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_26.html.
The first card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The second card is 4 1/4" x 6".
