A New Beginning Card

Hello, The Path of Positivity challenge this month is Birth of New Beginnings. When I think of Spring I always think of birth and renewal. Everything is coming awake. The flowers are coming up and blooming. The trees are budding out and starting to leaf out, the grass is turning green. Baby animals are being born. I love seeing the new life on the earth and the beauty in it. It always fills my heart with joy.
This Spring a baby girl will be born into our family. She is my great-niece, so another beautiful new beginning.
Yes, and every day is a new beginning. We get to start with a new slate and write this day with a new box of crayons (Copics) or whatever we like to use. It is not based on yesterday. We can start it with our attitude and back it up with actions. Every line or picture we put on that slate is up to us. Let's make it beautiful.

Today I am using a digi by The East Wind called "Bloom With Spring Sunshine." You can find it here https://www.etsy.com/shop/theeastwind.

Copics used are Y0000, Y000, Y00, Y02, Y06- flower Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17- dress, E000, E00, E01, E02, R20, R30- skin, RV10, RV13- lip, E21, E23, E25, E27, E29- hair, YG61, Yg63, YG67- stems.

The frame die cut was made using a Spellbinders die called Lattice Rectangles.

  1. Edwina, that is a gorgeous card in yellow. And we had great spring weather and now it is cold and we are expecting snow for the next two days. It will be wonderful next weekend when the warm comes back.
