The challenge this week is anything but snow. I am ready for Spring as I am sure most are. This cute digi girl is working in her flower bed. My Mom has one too.
Copics used are E000, E00, E33-skin, E33, E37, E29-hair, watering can- C1, C3, C7, overalls- B97, B05, BG05, shirt & scarf- BG10,BG01, Flowers- RV000, R20, leaves- YR06,G05, flower pots-E37, E33, E95, BG01, BG05, grass-YG41, G05, YG06. Gelly roll pens were used for the stems- green, center of flowers- rose, Gold, combined rose and Metallic blue for the purple.
The flowers are by Making Memories. These 2 cards are for the Creative Freebie Challenge.

This card is for the Recipe Challenge for the Greeting card challenge. 1-ribbon, 2-embellishments, 2-papers.

I used ribbon from my stash. flower buttons are by Dress it up. The gems are by Creatology. The papers are by clouds-Philadelphia Group, green print by DCWV. Copics used are C10, C7, C3, C1, B97,-watering can, leaves-G05, YG06, YG41, flowers- YR21, YR17, RV000,RV06.Silver Gelly Roll pen was used on the watering can.

The other card using the same image has a blue Stripe paper by DCWV around the sentiment. The leaves are made from some of the same ribbon. I only used 2 flower buttons on it. America the Beautiful card

What does the sentiment have to do with a kite? Everything! The kite is a favorite past time of children and many adults on warm windy days. I went to see the fireworks at Liberty State Park in NJ for the 4th .There were several people flying kites waitting for it to get dark for the fireworks.

I used Cricut Cartridge Elegant Edges Key oblong frames row 3 button 10 image and shift at 5". I then used the shadow and welded two of them together on my gypsy. Papers used are by DCWV-turquoise glitter paper, turquoise solid-Wassua, white-Georgia Pacific.
The stamp is Demask Designer stamp set by Clear Dollar Stamps. http://www.cleardollarstamps.com/ I used 4 pieces to make the card. The Ink is by Stampin Up , color-Taken With Teal.

Mardi Gras Parade Blog Hop

Welcome to our Mardi Gras parade. I must warn you though while you may enjoy jumping up to catch beads, doubloons, cups, stuffed animals--whatever! Please yell at the float riders "Throw me something, Mister!" Bring a large, sturdy plastic or cloth bag to hold all the treasure you'll be catching - if you try to put all of your beads around your neck, you'll have a hard time standing up straight! Be prepared: some people get so overcome with excitement they will occasionally jump in front of you to grab what a rider has thrown to you. Don't get into a tug-o-war....there are many more floats on the way! If you're from far away, some visitors hold up a sign saying where they are from.. our local riders love to see people from far away have a good time and will throw to them to make sure they do!

Mardi Gras is music, parades, picnics, floats, excitement ... and one big holiday in New Orleans! I used Cricut cartridge Quarter note for the words and saxaphonist and music notes on the card. The girl is pop dotted up on the card. I left places for photos and journaling on the layouts. 4 x6' photos will fit these places. The music note paper is by Recollections. It was 12 x 12" sheets cut to 11 x 9 1/2". The purple and maize color papers are by Recollections.
Copices used are YR23, Y17, YR31, V06, V04, BV00, E000, E00, E02, E29, E33, E37. Gelly roll pen Gold Metalic was used on horn and saxphone.Gelly Roll pen Stardust clear on girl's dress and shoes.

Lynne at Her Craftiness challenged some of us to use this saying in a project. I took her up on it. It was a lot of fun! I haven't done a collage since grade school.
I used Arches 120 b. watercolor paper as my base.printed off the saying on Georgia Pacific white cardstock The white spot on the left upper side is a Michaels 40% off coupon that bleached out when i deco- podged it. The AC Moore card I cut off an application for a rewards card. The Fiskars i cut off a package of Triple Tract blades. Recollections from a brads container. The glue dots from a box I just used up. The card for Scrapbook Pal came in one of my orders.The Cricut giveaway was back in 2011 and I kept it for a scrap page. The card for the magizine came out of one of my Card Maker Magizines.I hope they don't mind my using them for my wall art.
Cricut cartridges used are Elegant Edges for the circles,frame, and border. Create a Critter for the snail, Quarter Note for the music notes, Flower Shoppe -pink swirl left over from making a flower, Picturesque-flourishes, flowers, and dragonfly,Creative Memories cheerful Season- leaves,not sure which cartridge I used for the butterflies. They were extras i had made.
Once everything was cut out I glued it to the watercolor paper and mod podged it with deco-podge. I put on 2 layers. I plan on matting and framing it for my room.

Groundhog's Day is February 2th. Did you know they tell the weather by wither or not they see their shadow. Punxsutawney Phil is in Pennsylvania. He is one of several groundhogs to make predictions of when winter will end. He is also the best well known one.

Hello and welcome to the February Calendar Girls Blog Hop. There are some holidays we all know about. Did you know there was a holiday dedicated to making friends? That is right, there is. It is February 11th. Will you be my friend? Oh! I am delighted! We will have a good time crafting together.

Presidents Day is on February 20th this year. It is always the Monday between Abraham Lincoln and George Washington"s birthdays. What is so special about them you ask? George Washington was the 1st President of our country and one of the Founding Fathers. His birthday is February 22nd. Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president. His birthday is February 12th. He felt all men were created equal. The War Between the states was fought during his presidency. The North won and all slaves were set free. Later the war became known as the Civil War. Because of these 2 presidents all people are free and have the right to vote today in the USA.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #93 recipe challenge

The recipe for this challenge is 2 print papers, 1 ribbon, 1 die cut or punched out shape, 1 bling. For my card I cut out the loops border using Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges -size 1", key border, row2 button5. Copics used are dress and hat-R27, R35, R59, R29, hat- BV00, V06, BV08, hair- E33, E29, E57, cheeks- RV000, skin- E000, E00, eyes-B00. Rose Gelly Roll Pen was used for her mouth. The papers are by Design Originals-Purple with Hat-Titude 6 x 6" pad, white- Georgia Pacific, red- Recollections. The ribbon is some recycled that was on a Cartier purchase. The sentiment was typed on the computer using Fine Hand size 18.The purple flower gem is by Darice. The card size is 4 1/4" x 5 3/8".
Red Hatters are 50 years of age and older.They wear red and purple together and have a great time. They love going to tea rooms. I got a red hat at 40 years old as I loved the hat. I wear it one cold days when I go for a walk.

Be My Valentine -easel card

Hello! Today I am a Guest Designer for Lynne at Her Craftiness http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/

This is an easel card. Here is how to make it.
#1 Cut a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock to 12 x 9.5"
#2 Cut the 12 x 9.5" piece of cardstock in half, so you have 2 - 6 x 9.5" pieces
#3 Fold the first sheet in half.
#4 Cut the second sheet in half. You will now have 2 - 4.5 x 6" pieces.
#5 Leave the fist piece as is. Cut a 2" x 6" piece from the other.
#6 Score the 4.5 x 6" piece at 1/2" alone the long side. Use ATG runner to glue it to the back of your card.
#7 To the front of this piece pop dot up the 2 x 6" piece.
#8 Now you are ready to decorate it.
Note: my card is bigger than the instructions I gave you. It will take 1 1/2 sheets of cardstock to make a bigger card.

I used Cricut cartridge Love Struck to cut out the heart in red at 4" using my Gypsy. Row1 button2 of keypad.I then figured my card size at 5 1/4" x 5" and cut the layer image of the heart on the screen where I needed it on my card at 4" Row2 button2 on keypad. I then cut the the same layer out at 4.75" on vellum. Glue the vellum heart to the inside of the card making sure to cover the heart opening. When dry glue the red heart to the vellum.
The sentiment is by Desert Diva- a free digi. http://desertdiva-hannelie.blogspot.com/ I used copics to color the hearts over layering the color. R35, R27, R29 -colors used.
The flowers are from Cricut cartridge Flower Shoppe. Scallop1 at 3" row 1 button 2 on keypad, scallop 2 - 1.28" row 2 button 2 on keypad, scallop 4 at 1.28" row 4 button 2, leaves at .67" row5 button3 on keypad. This is a flower you have to put together. Starting at the center of the first scallop roll up to form the center of the flower. I found it helps to put adhesive on the design first before rolling up. Glue dot the very end. You need something strong here. Glue dot the tag on Scallop 4. Form a cone shape flower. Using a glue dot adhere scallop 2 to scallop 4. Now using fast dry glue, glue your center to the bottom 2 layers. Glue a pearl into the very center of flower.
Papers used are Red- Recollections, white- Georgia Pacific, vellum- Nicole Crafts. Pearls are by Recollections.

Copics used for the Queen of Hearts are Y17, YR23, Y21, R29, R27, R35, R59, R22, R20, BG05, BG15, B05, E000, E00, E11. Gelly Roll pen Stardust Clear was used on the hearts and trim on the cape. Gold Metallic for the crown. The Queen is cut out and pop dotted 1/8" from the background. She is 2 3/4" high.

Copics used for the Valentine Background are Rv06, V06, BV00, RV04, BG05, B00, E29, E37, E31, E57, YG95, YG67, G28, G85, YG06, C1, C3, YG41, G05. Gelly Roll pens used are Silver- string and nails, Rose- fruit on tree, Stardust clear heart flowers. Viva Decor Pearl Pen Ice White for the clouds. Blue chalk for the sky.
I printed 2 of these and colored and cut out the front row of grass and flowers. They are pop dotted away from the background. The pop dots are 1/4" thick I cut them to sizes that I needed. size of the background is 3 1/2" x 4 1/2"
The green cardstock is 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" The sentiment is 2" x 1 1/2". The heart brads are by Recollections. I covered them with the Rose Gelly Roll pen, then spritzed them with iridescent Glimmer mist by Tattered Angles, while wet I sprinkled Rose colored glitter on them by Recollections.

This pink butterfly card is going to my niece in Ga. She is missing me and asked for a homemade card. Isn't that great? It makes my heart smile.

Don't you just love this butterfly. It is in a stamp set called Hearts a Flutter by Clear Dollar Stamps. The theme this week for their challenge is Pastels.

The 1st card I used sky blue ink papers are by DCWV-print, Blue-Recollections, white- Georgia Pacific. The pearls are by Recollections. The Gems by Darice. I pop dotted the sentiment up to make it more noticeable.
The 2nd card I used Rose Romance Ink by Stampin Up. The papers are by Echo Park- Victoria Gardens 6x6" pad - print, blue-Recollections, white- Georgia Pacific. The pearls/gems are by Mark Richards Crystal Stickers. The pearls by Recollections.

Hello and welcome to the Sketch challenge at The Robyn's Fetish Challenge. The sponsor is Delicious Doodles. You can find them here at http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.com/ The prize for the Sketch challenge is 4 images of winners choice at Delicious Doodles.
Using score Pal I scored 2 pieces of white card stock sizes 6 x 9" at the 1 1/2' and 3' lines. Make an M fold on both pieces of cardstock.. You can see it in the 3rd photo. using an ATG runner add adhesive to the end of the backs of the 1 1/2" sections. Put the M fold on opposite ends. While you had your scoring tool out, cut a piece of cardstock 3" x 1 1/2". Score it 1 1/2 inch down on right side to the opposite corner on bottom. Fold it over so you have a valley fold. Set aside for now.
I used The Cupcake Fairy Digi from Delicious Doodles. Isn't she gorgeous! Copics used are YG06 and R35-strawberry, E11- skin, BG05-eyes, RV06- lips, BG05 and BG15- dress, Y17, Yr31, and YR23- hair, BG05-wings, E31, E57- cake of cupcake, RV04-frosting, YG06 and G05- cupcake paper. Gelly Roll Pen Rose- fingernails Stardust clear for seeds of strawberry.Papers used are Recollections-dark green, red, turquoise, and black Making Memories English Garden pad- prints.
Cricut cartridges used are Elegant Edges- 5" Row 3 Button 5 image plus frame shift page 44 of booklet; Preserves -strawberry-1' row3 button10 page53 shift and layer shift; Picturesque- butterfly 1" row4 button8 image plus blackout page65.
Card size is 6 x 9" unfolded and folded 6 x 6".
When you have all your pieces glued together, that you cut out using the Cricut cartridges, start putting the card together. You will need green distressed paper from Making Memories pad 1 1/2" x 6", Strawberry strip 1 1/2" x 6", Strawberry floral- 6 x 6" The background shape behind the Cupcake Fairy is also from the pad. The Sentiment I typed and printed off . The white is 3/4" x 1 3/4" The green is 1" x 2". The green behind the butterfly is 1 1/2 x 1 1/2" Add it to the top, unfolded side of the scored 3 x 1 1/2" cardstock. Glue down butterfly. Using your Adhesive runner apply the folded piece to the inside of card ( back of front). Make sure your image is showing like for when it is open.Glue down background papers. Let the Cupcake Fairy over- hang the design and the design the card a little. Using Gelly Roll Pen clear Stardust add seeds to the cut out strawberries.

Thank You- card

This card was made using a digi from TLC. I printed the THANK You out on different colors cardstock and cut them out. Then I hung them out to dry on Devine Twine. (smile) The grass is 2 x 7" using a deckled scissors I cut alone the top,then cut into the deckled edge about 1/2 - 3/4". Roll the grass on a pencil. then straighten some and bend some . The cloud paper is 7' x 4". you want to be able to overlay the grass on top. The flowers are by Jolee's Boutique-Party Gem flowers, and Jolee's Bling-Blue Mini Flowers.The papers are by Recollections-solids, and clouds-The Philadelphia Group.

I recycled Christmas gift wrap to make this card. The gift wrap is a few years old. It cut fine with scissors to wrap a present, but my trimmer tore. I used my ATG runner on the card base, applied the gift wrap, then trimmed around the edges of the card with scissors. The image is by Anne's cards 4 you. The brads are by Anne's Cards 4 You. The Red and green cardstock is by Recollections. Copics used are R27, R35, R29, R59- cardinal, E29, E37, E57, E31-pinecones, YR23, Y17-feet, G85, YG67, G28-pine needles. I added some extra pine needles to the design. Anne I hope you don't mind. I decided not to add a sentiment, because I felt it could be used during the winter months as well as Christmas.

Hello, It is good to see you. This card is for the Thank You challenge at Jellypark Friends on the Crafters Cafe. The image is by Jellypark. I love this little girl. She could be used for many things. She looks so sweet.
Copics used are YR23, Y17, YR31-hair, RV06, RV04-dress, socks, & headband, BG05, B05-shoes, E11-skin. Gelly Roll pens for flowers on dress-White and Metallic Blue. Papers used are by Recollections-green, pink and blue, Georgia Pacific-white, K & Company-print. The sentiment was typed on the computer using MonoCorsiva size18. The grass was cut by hand. green cardstock 2" x 4 1/4", cut alone the top using Provo Craft edge scissors deckled edge. Cut into deckled edge about 3/4" no need to measure. Roll the grass around a pencil and straighten some and bend some back a little. The sentiment and girl are pop dotted up. Gems are by Want 2 Scrap.

I love how this card turned out. Red, green and white, very Christmasy.
I used Cricut cardtridge Joy of the Season- poinsettia-2" row 4 button10, swirl border-1" row 4 button10 , elegant Edges-oblong frame- 3.25" row3 button 4. The papers are br Recollection ( red and green), Georgia Pacific- white.The pearls ( antique) and green gems are by Recollections. Ribbon is some I had in my stash. The card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2". The stripes of red and green are 3/4" x 5 1/2". They are glued down with my ATG runner. The green rectangle is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".The sentiment is one I typed and printed off. The white cardstock for it is , oh well I forgot to write it down and it is now in the mail to a friend. I think it is 1 x 2".

The Digi is called Bells of Christmas. The papers are Vellium Swiss-dot - Got it at AC Moore, Turquoise-Recollections, White is by Georgia Pacific. The card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Copics use are YR31, YR23, Y17, G58, G05, G28, G85, YG67, R29, B29, B97, B05, E31, E57. Le Plume- medium brown for branches of berries. Gelly Roll Pen- stardust clear for berries. Pop dots to pop up image. Paper sizes- vellium- 5 1/4" x 4", turquoise-5 1/2' x 4 1/4", White with sentiment- 3/4" x 1 3/4", yellow- 2" x 1".The sentiment was typed on my computer and printed off. The Script is Edwardian Script.
I decorated the inside too. The holly is cut using Cricut cartridgeTis the season-2.37" row3 button 7. The verse I found on the computer and typed it and printed it in Office word. The berries on the card are made using Stickles -Holly Berry, and Viva Decor-red.

I decided to use the Christmas fairy from Jellypark Friends for the Felt challenge at Jellypark Friends.

The red border is a felt border from Queen & Co felt fusions. The pearls are by Recollections. The sentiment is one I typed up and printed off the computer. The copics used are Y17, YR23, YR31, YG06, G05,, R35. Gelly Roll pen stardust for the wings and on top of the stars after coloring them red and the Floral hair decoration. I colored the flower's centers red and left them white. The red and green papers are by Recollections. The white paper by Georgia Pacific. The card size is 5 x 6 1/2".

I feel in love with this digi as soon as I saw it when it was released. I knew I was going to get it.

Gelly Roll pen Stardust clear to go over the top of berries one the color was on them.Paper is by DCWV- Christmas stack-print and green from the Spring Stack- solids. The white paper is by Georgia Pacific.I cut out the mistletoe once I had it colored, then pop dotted the design up. The loops border is cut from Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges.

This digi is by Michelle Perkette Studio. This card is the Christmas challenge at For Fun Challenges.

The Copics used are R35, G05, YG06. Gelley Roll Stardust clear pen for stars and dots.The papers are by Recollections. I distressed the papers. I tore 2 connecting sides. Then I wadded them up real tight and smoothed them out. I used my ATG adhesive runner to apply them to the card, make sure you apply the ribbon to the last section of the paper before gluing it down. The ribbon is some I had in my stash. It is 1/8" wide. The pearls are by Recollections. I inked the edge of the white paper with the digi with the wide edge of the red Copic. The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps Mistletoe Digi set.

I got the digi Christmas fairy from Jelly Park Friends at the Crafters Cafe.

I decided to use lighter versions of the Christmas colors. I used Deep Rose and Turquoise. The card is 5 x 6 1/2". Copics used are BG15, E31, Ell, RV06, YG06, R35. Gelly Roll pens used are Rose, Green, Metallic Blue, Stardust-clear and Black to make the eyes stand out more. Candy Pink Zig marker for Rosy cheeks and Pale Pink for face by Le plume. The papers turquoise and deep rose are by Recollections, white by Georgia Pacific. Lace is some I had in my stash. The Sentiment I typed on the computer and printed off. I inked the edges of the sentiment with rose ink. The flowers are by Prima Flowers. Glue Dots were used to attach the flowers to the card. I printed 2 of the Christmas Fairies. after coloring the one. I then colored the dress and shoes of the other, cut them out and pop dotted them on top of the other. The Rose paper is 5 x 6 1/2", turquoise-5 x 3 3/4", is 5/8 x 2", white for fairy is 4 5/8 x 3 1/2". I rounded the corners of the white for the fairy with Fiskars corner edger rounder scissors.

I embossed the blue jewel tone paper with Cuttlebug embossing Folder birds and Swirls. The stamps come from Unity stamps- itty bitty The little things , and Happy Everything set- so many thanks. The ink pad is Faded Jeans by Tim Holtz Distressed Ink. The card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2". The papers are by DCWV- jewel tone blue, and the others by Recollections. The sentiments are pop dotted up. The little things by 1/8" and so many thanks by 1/4" so I could overlap them.
This card is for a very special friend. she does so many little things for everyone. i wanted to say thank you to her. Since we always have hot tea this stamp set was perfect.

The Red dot paper is Echo Park Christmas Dots and Stripes 6x6"pack.Gold paper-DCWV, white paper-Georgia Pacific, Green and Red paper-Recollections. The stamp set is by Clear Dollar Stamps -Loving Ladybugs set. Ink pad Peeled Paint by Tim Holtz. Happy Anniversary stamp by Stampin Up. Copics-YR67, R59. Gelly Roll Pens- Gold Metalic and Clear Stardust.Gold ribbon from my stash.

I made this card and mailed it out this week. she loved it! I used Elegant Edges Fancy circle-image and shift 3 1/2" and border1" . Dark Blue paper- Recollections, light blue- DCWV , white-georgia Pacific. Stamp is by Stampin Up. The flowers are by Prima Flowers- Caboodle K. Gems- Darice . The twine is some white I had and marked with marker to match the card. This is the inside of the above card.

I used Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges Loops border-1" row 2 button 5 border and shift, flower3- 3 3/4" row5 button 4 image and shift. The Floral and striped papers are by DCWV, White paper- Georgia Pacific, Turquiose- Recollections. Ink pad-Taken With Teal, and Happy Anniversary stamp by Stampin Up. The small butterflies were from different kits I have.
I used ATG runner, Zig 2 way glue pen, and Pop Dots on all 3 cards.

I used Tim Holtz distress ink pads Tea Dye, and Walnut Stain. Pop dotted the 2 of the leaves and the sentiment with1/4" high dots. The paper is by Deja Views- Stripe. Gold Metalic Gelly Roll pen for the buckle on the hat.

I did this card for the food challenge at For Fun Challenges. We had to follow a recipe. !-food, 2-prints of paper, 3- brads, buttons, or eyelets.
I love pictures of Christmas Puddings! I always have. One day I hope to try one. It sounds so good. I read you make it one month before Christmas and you don't cut it before Christmas Eve. it is to be brought into the room with the lights dimmed or off as you pour brandy over it and light it. That sounds increditable and beautiful.
The poem on the vellum is by Elizabeth Turner. I found it one the internet and put it in word and set the font to look old. I used vellum adhesive to place it on the card. The 2 prints are from Echo Park Dots and Strips Christmas pack 6 x 6". The white by Georgia Pacific. The card is 6 x 5". Copic used were E31, E57, E37, E29, R35, R29, YG95, G85. Ink pad-Tim Holtz Distressed Ink- Peeled Paint. Copics-YG67, R59. Gelly Roll pen-gold Metalic. Papers used are Echo Park Christmas Dots and Stripes- green stripe, and red dots. Georgia Pacific- white. I also used pop dots, ATG runner and Zig 2 way glue pen.

thankful layout and card

I hope to put one of these in the Thankful for parents challenge at Die Cut Divas.

I used Cricut cartridge Thanksgiving For the Card- pilgrims portraits 2 1/4" , Thankful Heart font-1 1/4", Billionaire- Font -for my Parents-3/4", Love Struck- heart-5". papers are black, ivory-heart, vanilla-card 6x6"
For the layout I used Cricut cartridge Thanksgiving- grapes-3" row 2 button 2, Grape leaves-3" row1 button 3, and row2 button3, Count your Blessings- 2" row5. papers natural, deep red, wine, burgundy, light green, craft paper. All papers are Recollections for both projects.
After cutting out the leaves I inked the edges and tips of the leaves with lime green, I then inked the leaf all over in yellow leaving green showing. I then inked the center of the leaves with a pale orange.
i used AtG runner, Zig 2 way glue pen and pop dots.on both projects. thanks for visiting.

Merry Christmas card

Nutcrackers are part of Christmas in our house. My Pop loves them and has about 20 different ones. Mom and I love them too now. We have 2 5 foot tall ones that stand outside our front doors for Christmas. They look so cheerful there.
The Striped paper is by Echo Park Christmas Dots and Stripes 6x6 inch pack. Love it! itis great for Christmas and any other time you choose. The white paper is Georgia pacific, Green and Red paper are by Recollections, Gold paper by DCWV.
The stamps are by Clear Dollar Stamps Holiday Nutcrackers set. The ink- Peeled Paint by Tim Holtz, and the black a small cube in my stash. The Copics used are 59 and 67. I used Gelly roll pens- Stardust clear, Black, and Gold. Prisma colored pencils 927 and 1028.
I used Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge and cut out the diamond border at 1" row 4 button 4. The drum is from Joys of the Season-1" row1 button 9.
I also used Popdots, ATG runner, Zig 2 way glue pen, Gold pearls by Recollections.

This card is for the Clear Dollar Stamps pink challenge.

The stamps are by Clear Dollar Stamps. I used Demask Designer for the florishes and snowflake, and Holly Builder set for the sentiment The papers are by DCWV- pink Christmas print, and Georgis Pacific-white cardstock. Deep pink pearls are by Recollections. ATG was also used. Shir rose ribbon was some I had in my stash.
I normally don't use papers with words on them, but it just fit with what I wanted the card to say. Thanks for visiting.

Sweeping up some Fun Just for You card

This card is for a color challenge on Die Cutting Divas using orange, purple, green and black for a Halloween card.
I used Cricut cartridges Wrap it up -witch-4 1/2" row5 button9, Celebrate with a flourish- Happy Halloween for inside the card 1 1/4" row3 button9, Pooh Font-1/2" font and shadow.
The card size is 4 5/8" x 5 1/8". the papers are Bazzill, and Recollections. ATG and Zig 2 way blue glue pen were used as adhesives.

This card is for a color challenge on Picture Perfect Creations.
I used Cricut cartridge Lacy Lables heart-3" <heart 3> .The background is stripes of cardstock ATG ed down. You do have to use something strong to hold the stripes in place. The card size is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" The pink pearls are by recollections. So thankful stamp is by Clear Dollar Stamps Prairie Kids set.

Happy Halloween card

The digi image is from Michelle Perket Studios that I used on this card. Isn't she cute?
The background is a greyish blue cardstock from Georgia Pacific that I finger painted clouds onto. I then outlined certain areas of the clouds with a white Gelly Roll pen. I had help from my Mom to print the digi in brown instead of black. I used Copics B05, BG15, R35, YR23, Yr31, E31 to color the image. I also used Blue Metalic Gelly Roll pen for dots on cape and shoes, and words- free handed. I cut the image out and ang glued her down on the background.

Gobble Till You wobble -card

This card is for the sketch challenge on Clear Dollar Stamps.
I just love this silly turkey! He is so cute! I had fun using this stamp. The stamps age from Clear Dollar Stamps. Prairie Kids the pumpkins, and Give Thanks set-turkey and sentiment on the sign. I stamped the images with Tim Holtz Distress ink Tea Dye. Copics used to color the images are E11, E31, E37, E57, R35. I cut out the pumpkins and popped dotted them up. The one overlapping the other has 2 pop dots behind it. The papers used are Navel- Bassill- 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" , Recollections-Garage Sale(yellow print) -1" x 5 1/4", Fall leaves- 1' x 4 1/2", Orange small dot- 1" x 3 3/4". The card size is 4 1/4' x 5 1/4".

Fall Blessings- tag

I am hoping to put this in the Vintage heartfelt Designs Challenge. I'm not sure If I have to use certain products or not. I'll find out. If not, that's okay. I had fun making the tag. plus I got to use some new ribbon from 3 Girls Jam. I hope everyone enjoys the tag. Have a good day.
I made this tag using the Cuttlebug Embossing plus Tags folder. the paper is a parchment paper that has a rough feel to it.Perfect for adding texture to the pumpkins. The stamps are from Clear Dollar Stamps prairie Kids set. It was stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Crushed Olive. Copics used are E11 -barely beige, YR31-light reddish yellow, YR23- yellow ochre, YG95-pale olive, E31- brick beige. I also used Marvy Memories artist marker light green. Crinkle ribbon is by 3 Girl Jam color Sunflower. I made dots with the markers I used to give the effect of the ground for the pumpkins to set on. I didn't want them floating. :)

Hello everyone,
I love this cheerful card! I used the Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge for all the cuts. Snowman-4" row4 button6, snowflakes-1/2", 3/4", and 1" row4 button4, cup of hot chocolate-1 1/4" row4 button7, Snow-1" row5 button10. I colored the white cutout of the nose with an orange marker.
Cuttlebug embossing folders used are Swiss Dots-white later of snowman,snowflakes,cup of hot chocolate, and Snow, Candy Cane Stripe- brown layer of snowman, Winter Bundle Large Snowflake- background.
The card size is 6 1/2" x 5".

I used Cricut cartridge french Manor a Cricut Circle cartridge to make this card. Window-5.50" row1 button9, Effel Tower-2.75" row5 button1, Bonjour-1" row5 button5.
the tag is hand cut. The twine is white colored with acid free markers to match the card. The window is pop dotted up.

I used Cricut cartridges Paper lace- Blossom#1 at2 3/4" row 1 Button2, lace border 1 1/2" row3 button10, Thank You 3/4" row5 button1, Flower Shoppe daisy#1 2 3/4" rows 1, 2, & 3 button1, leaves 1 1/2" and 1" row5 button1, Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons butterfly 1" row1 button1, dragonfly 1" row1 button5, bug 1" row1 button7.
I put a 1/2" pop dot in the center of the flower and pressed tiny ivory beads into it. The leaves are inked with a light green ink. The flower is held together with Mini Glue Dots.. I glued the flower down with Scotch 3M quick dry glue. Let set over night. I wn about 1/4" circle of glue.

I used Cricut cartridge Pooh and Friends-Pooh at 3" row 1 button 4, Piglet at 2.26" row3 button 4, bridge at 3.59" row 5 button 4 , honey pots at 1.17" and 1.37" row5 button 6. Mickey and Friends - grass at1.22" row5 button10, Pooh Font at .78". Papers are by Reccolections and Bazzil. Cloud paper from Staples.

I found this poem on-line. I loved it as it describes Fall/ Autumn so well.

I used Cricut cartridges- Thanksgiving-acorn border- 3 of them welded together at 1" row 1 button 6, cut 2. Gyspy Wanderings-Autumn-1"Row 3 button 7. Mother's Day Bouquet-Flower-1" row 4 buttons 3 & 4 cut 7, leaves- 2" row5 button4 cut 14. Mother's Day- Pinwheel- 4" row3 button 10 cut 7, Flower-4" row4 button 10 cut 7.Tag- sweettreats tagsbutton oon row 2 button 2, turn link off so you can adjust the size to 3" x 5".
Other items I used.
Zig 2 way pen, stardust gelly roll pen to outline Autumn, inks-golden yellow, orange, lime, red and mauve. The mauve was to ink edges of pinwheels. The other colors were for the leaves.Iridesent gold Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist- to spritzs paper for pinwheels.glue runner- small handheld one. Straws- painted olive,large headed straight pens, fast dry glue, mini glue dots .
   I inked all the leaves to look more like Autumn leaves. I made the holes on the pinwheels slightly larger so the pin would go through easy and when blown on the pinwheel would rotate. I glued the pins in the straw after sticking it through the straw with fast dry glue. I filled the space good to make sure it held. I printed the verse on parchment paper and then cut the tag where I needed it. You have to do some measuring to make sure you design is in the right place on the gyspy before cutting it out. I used a 2" piece of orang ribbon to attach the tag and hide the seam. The can is a coffee can.

     Friends are rare and few. Sometimes we find them without looking for them. They are indeed a gift to be held on too.

    cricut cartridges Damask decor- card setting, row4 button 5-5.02" tag-3.02" x 3.36", Butterflies- 1", Cursive 101- font-.58".The tag I arranged in the card so I would have a window. I'll use it later. I also cut a card without the tag as a window. Papers-DCWV-At Home paper pad, popdots, fast dry glue, Marvy Artist marker-sapphire-for edges of butterflies,Recollections pearls-color - antique lace.
    I popdoted the butterflies and the top layer of card.

I just love Fall. I love the Fall leaves, Mums, Hot Apple Cider, and decorations. When I saw the Paririe Kids Stamp set at Clear Dollar Stamps I knew I wanted it and what I could do with it. This is my first card using this stamp set. I hope you enjoy it.

Copics-E31-toasted Almond-hat, shoes, belt, center of flowers & srem of pumpkin, YG95-Ripe Olive-leaves and stems of flowers, B97-Deep Sea-spenders,E37-Mud Pie-eyes to darken them, E11-Melon Spice- pumpkins, Zig Writters pens- Platium-Buckle, Powder Blue- shirt & pants, Le Plume-Pale Pink- nose, rose-lips, Marvy Artist pen-Brillant Yellow- petals of sunflower. Popdots- for the pumpkins, squirille, and 3 sunflowers. Cricut cartridge Wall Decor and More- rock wall-1.28"high -border setting. DCWV- Glitter Stack - Silver for shift layer, Gray- Georgia Pacific for top layer.

Smiles are the best accessories is so true. smiles make you feel welcome. I got this saying from a piece of Dove dark chocolate; my favorite candy. I just love seeing what each piece has to say. Some I keep.

Thinking of you Cat cards

     My niece broke her right foot. she needed a little encouragement so I made two cards to send her. The one is on its way as of today. I'll send the other in a couple of days.
      I used Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges for the tag to stamp on using the design, shift, and shadow. The cats and you are purrfect stamps came from Inkadinkado Cats stamp set. The Thinking of You stamp from Clear dollar Stamps Hydranga set. The ink is Tim Holtz Vintage Photo, and Ditto stamp marker Pink. I used the marker to color the design on the cats. Blue ribbon -Billowing Clouds and brown ribbon- Mud Pie from Clear Dollar Stamps. Papers are Stripe- Susan Branch, Pink Distress- Anna Griffin, Deep Pink Shimmer - DCWV, Print under stamped piece -DCWV, White- Georgia Pacific, Pink Prints- DCWV. Viva decor Pearl Pen-Dark Brown- for paw prints. I hope I didn't forget anything.
