4th of July bears hop

    I made a double sided banner for the 4th of July using Lisa's files 4th of July, Happy Birthday America, and Bear #2. you can find all the files under Holidays in her store at Scrapping with Lisa here.

    I used Cricut cartridge Birthday Bash to cut out the banner. It can be found on the keypad row 4 button 8 font key and the font shift key for the shadow. I cut it at 5.32". I then held the shadow piece up to the blue and cut out a bigger piece to give me 3 layers for the banner.

    Here are items I used to decorate the images.I paper pieced most of the bears. Some are png, but  most are pdf. I decorated all of the images. I used Pom Poms by Darice as some of the noses. Eyes are wiggle eyes by Creatology. Stardust clear Gelly Roll Pen for glitter highlights. Star Confetti by Celebrate It from (Michales)- fireworks image. 3 Mini star brads on the watermelon bear's hat by Recollections. Popdots were used to pop up parts of the bears to give them a 3D effect. ATG runner, Glue Dots and Zig 2 way glue pen were used as adhesives. The papers are Georgia Pacific-white, Recollections- dark blue and floral print. Target- 4th of July prints. The Ribbon is by Offray.

Robyn's Fetish challenge # 113 No added flowers

    Today at Robyn's Fetish our challenge is no added flowers either in embellishments or paper. The flower on my card is part of the digi. Our sponsor this week is Digi Darla.   Gold Metallic Gelly Roll was used for the cat tag.  Red and Blue Gelly Roll pens for the butterflies. Stardust clear Gelly Roll Pen was used on the butterflies and the center of the flower.

   Papers used are by Basic Grey Max and Whiskers 6 x 6" pad- cat print. dot print, and brown, Georgia Pacific- white.

  The card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Stopping by to say Happy Birthday card

America Land of the free, and home of the brave card

  Hello, Today I have a 4th of July card for you. The little bear image is from Scrapping with Lisa. You can find it in her store under Holidays. It is one of the images in the 4th of July file. You can find it here.

   The America Image is by Create with TLC. You can find it here in her store.   I colored the sentiment with Copics and Gelly roll pens. The colors are- Copics-R27, B321, and Y17, Gelly Roll Pens- Gold Metallic, and Stardust Clear.

   The sentiment Land of the free, and home of the brave I typed on the computer and printed off.

   The papers are by Recollections-blue and star stripe, Georgia Pacific-white, Target- 4th of July print.

  The star buttons are by Favorite Findings. The Ribbon is by Offray.

   The banner shape is from Cricut Cartridge Birthday Bash. It is found on the keypad by using the font key row 4 button 8 at 5.32"

Swimsuit Bear -card

Welcome to Scrapping with Lisa's Designs Queen fo Her Craftroom Design Team displaying Lisa's Swimming Suit Bear,, which is available in her store. Today,we are going tol showcase her little swimming suit bear in a shaped card which will not only will show the versatility of this file as each member of the team is very creative with thinking outside just the cutting file but also the many different styles of cards which are available which we as crafters need to look outside the traditional "square" card!!

    Hello, Today I have a card with multiple types of card making on it. I have paper piecing, copics, and diecuts. The cute bear is by Lisa Peters with Scrapping With Lisa. It is called Swimsuit Bear. You can find her here. it has a SGV, pdf, jpg, png, eps, dxf files.i used the pdf file and fussy cut out the image and glued it together. i then added embellishments. The tiny rick rack and sequins are from the Joann Shop. The mini pom Pom for the nose is by Darice. The eyes are googly eyes are by Darice. The center of the flower on the hat is by Recollections.
    I used Cricut cartridge life is a Beach for the sandcastle, waves, starfishes, beach ball, and bucket and shovel. I cut the sandcastle at1.81", bucket & shovel at 1..05", waves at 1.07", starfishes at 1.07", and beach ball at 1". You can find these on the keypad at waves-row2 button4, sandcastle -row3 button10, bucket and shovel- row 3 button 9, starfishes- row4 button 4, beach ball- row 5 button10.

  The sentiment is a digi by Crafty Cat 957 Designs. I cut it out then colored the outside of the design with Copics. i used R83, R85, R11. You can find it here.

  The papers are by Georgia Pacific-white, Recollections all the colored papers.

   Stardust clear Gelly Roll Pen was used on the front waves and on the starfishes.

   This card is an easel card. It measures 7 3/4" x 5 1/2"-base. the bear is 6 1/2' high.

Wouldn't want you to get burnt along with without sun tan lotion with our swimming suit bear! Here is the complete line-up.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge # 112 anything goes

   The image I used is Fruity Strawberries.  I colored it with Copics and Gold Metallic Gelly Roll pen.

  Copics used are R20, R22, R27, R29, R35, R59-strawberries, G07, G28, YG05, YG67-leaves and vine, Y000, Y00, Y06, Y09, YG0000-flower. Gold Metallic Gelly Roll pen was used as seeds on the strawberries.

  Cricut cartridge Paisley was used to cut out the 3 small strawberries at .80".

  The papers are by Making Memories English Garden- strawberry print, Recollections- red,dots- Aqua Dot and blue floral print- Watercolor Blue Ditsy, and Georgia Pacific-white.

   The sentiment came from Clear Dollar Stamps. It is a digi called Little Strawberry. You can find it here

A little Pickup for you card & #1 Dad tag

    Hello, Over at The Outlawz there is a Creative freebie challenge. These are the 2 images this week. The truck is by Sandi Huggert  and the #1 Dad is by Anne Fenton. You can find the challenge here.

    Copics used on the truck are C1, C3, C5, C7, C10, Y15, B28, B05, B02. Stardust clear on the headlight,  and Silver Metallic Gelly Roll pen on the chrome on the truck.

   Papers are by Recollections-green and blue, DCWV- grey, Georgia Pacific-white, and Philadelphia Group-clouds.

   Deckled scissors were used to cut the green for a hilly background effect.

   The sentiment was typed on the computer and printed off.
   The card is 5" x 6 1/2".

   Copics used on the tag are Y17, YR23, YR31, Y15, Y00, Y04, E13, E17, E11, E31, E29, C1, C3, R35, R22, R27, R59. Red Gelly Roll pen was used on the # sign.

   The papers are by Recollections-kraft paper, Georgia Pacific-white, and DCWV  Luxury Stack.-print.

  The Ribbon is by Clear Dollar Stamps. It is called Cherry Go round 5/8' satin ribbon.

  The tag is hand cut out and a hole punch was used to punch the hole at the top.

4th of July card

   Hello, Today I am sharing a card I made using 2 images from Scrap Happy Paper Crafter. . I popdotted the girl up 1/8" from the firework image.  You can find these images here.

  Copics, Gelly Roll pens and Inkadinkadoo chalks were used to color the images. Copics used are R59, R35, R37, b28, B05, B02, E11, E31, E17, Y06, Y17, YR23, YR31- rocket image, girl saluting image- G28, G07, G03, YG05, E000, E00, E01, E02, B28, B05, B02, R59, R35, R22, E13, E17. Gelly Roll pens used are Stardust clear on Rocket image and Gold Metallic, red, and Stardust Clear on the gilr image. Dark blue and purple chalks were blended together to make the sky on both images.

   The papers are by Georgia Pacific-white, Recollections-print and blue.

  The star brad is by Target- Americana Collection. i found them about 2 years ago.

Happy 4th of July card

   Hello This card is for the challenge at Scrap Happy Paper Crafter. You can find the challenge here    this is a free digi I am using for the challenge. Julie at Scrap Happy Paper Crafter has several lovely free images. Feel free to use them, but please link back to her if you do.

   Copics, Gelly Roll pens, and chalk were used to color the image. The sky was done using Inkadinkadoo chalks. I used dark blue and purple. Copics used are G28, G07, G03, YG05-grass, E000, E00, E01, E02, B29, B05, B02, R59, R35, R22, E13, E17. Gold Metallic and Stardust clear Jelly Roll pens were used for the Fireworks. The dots on her shirt are done using blue Gelly Roll Pen then laying with Stardust clear. Make sure the blue is dry first before going on top with the Stardust. The stars are done in Stardust on her shirt.
   The gem stars on the side of the card are by Darice.

   The papers are by Recollections-red and blue, Georgia Pacific- white.

   The Red Ribbon is by Really reasonable ribbon.

   The sentiment is typed on the computer and printed off.

  The card is 3" x 5 1/2".

   Copics used are E000, E00, E01, E02-skin, E31, E11, E000-hair, B01, B05, B29-birds, B01-eyes, RV00, RV02-lips, RV000, Rv00, RV02, RV04-dress, RV04, RV00, RV02-cupcake and flowers, Rv00-bracelet, E37-nest, YG61, YG67-leaves. The 3 cupcakes on the tags I used RV00, RV02, RV04, R24, R35, R29, R59-cherries.

   Stardust clear Gelly Roll pen was used on bracelet and bird's eyes, and cupcakes for tags. Green Gelly Roll Pen was used on the stems of cherries on tags.Viva Decor Cream Pearl Pen was used on the cupcakes.
    I used Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges to cut out 2 frames. Ashlyn's Alphabet to cut out the tags.

   I cut a piece of acetate  at 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" to go on the inside of the rectangle frame. The frame is pop dotted up the 2 sides and bottom so a photo can be added.

   I printed 2 of the same image same size for the front cover. I cut out the arm the birds, and the other hand, these I decorated and pop dotted on the image. I printed a larger image and cut the face and arm out. The face i put into the frame and the arm on the back. The face is from the left over image. I cut it by hand into an oval for the frame.

   Step 1
   The journal is a Smash Journal by K & Company. I covered it with material. The insides I cut cardboard to fit the pages and covered with a correnating fabric.

   Color images and cut them out.

    Hot glue on the beads.

   Step 4
  The braid was made from Embroidery thread color #842. I used one scheme. I then hot glued it on the colored image.

  Cut and hot glue on the laces.  Then add other embellishments.

  The laces came from Walmart triple Teir- 2 1/2" wide, and pearls on Be 3/4" wide. The fabric and pink ribbon also came from Walmart.

    The black glitter on a roll on the back cover and the pearl border are from Recollections. The deep pink pearls also came from Recollections. The pink gems are by Mark Richards. The glass beads are by Create Cousin.The front image I added 2 paper flowers, they are by Jolee's Boutique called Together Blossoms.

   The cupcakes on the tags are from Inkadinkadoo called Cupcake Clings.

    I am so glad you became my friend. I had make a friend day in February. I have made some wonderful friends, but one is my best friend. I am so glad we have met through crafting.

    Robyn's Fetish Challenge #110 no square or rectanglecards

        Hello, today at Robyn's Fetish our challenge is No square or rectangle cards. Our sponsor today is  The Paper Shelter. The winner  gets a $20 gift certificate from The Paper Shelter. you can find them here.

       The cards are made using Cricut Cartridges Elegant Edges and Ornamental Iron. the first card is Elegant Edges  row 1 button 7 at 4.04". The second card is using Ornamental Iron row 5 button 10 at 5". Both cards I welded the image together on my Gypsy to make a card.
      Copics used on the image are C1, C3, C5, C7, C10-watering can, Y17, Y13-bees and center of flowers, E11, E13, E17, E95-flowerpot, BV02, BV08, V04, RV02, RV04, RV09, R20, R22, R24-flowers,YG03, YG93, YG05-grass, leaves, and stems, BV02, BV08, V04-bow.
       The sky was done using Inkadinkadoo chalk on the first card. The second card I used chalk then I used Prisma Color colored pencils 1086 and 1022 on top of the chalk. I blended them together.
       The bees, I used Black Gelly Roll pen  on the body and Stardust clear Gelly Roll pen on the wings.

       The sentiments are hand typed and printed on the computer onto cardstock.
       The papers are by Recollections-black, and the 2 olive greens, Georgia Pacific-white, Philadelphia Group-cloud paper under the sentiment on the second card.
