I flipped the images so the digis are going in both directions.
The papers are by DCWV- background paper, Recollections-speckled paper, and blue, Georgia pacific- white.
This card is made of different layers.
First I glued the background paper down, then add the digis.
2nd- Get a craft baggie 4" x 6" squeeze blue hair gel in it to make a thin layer. Make sure you get out as much air as possible before sealing completely.. I added adhesive to the the 2 ends and folded it over about 1/4".Now go around the outside edges of your card with with Score tape or ATG adhesive. Lay your baggie on the card smoothing it out as you go. This will make it look like water on your card.
3rd- cut a piece of cardstock the same size as your card. cut out a frame with each side 1/2" wide. Place foam stripes, dots, or tape all around it. Make sure it is strong. Lay this onto of the baggie.
4th- Now decorate the frame. I laid some digis flat on on the frame and others I pop dotted.
5th- I decided after making the card I wanted it to stand up so i made it into an easel card.
Note: The gel will slide down making it look like the water is deeper there. just lay it flat and smooth it back out to get the gel back in place.
The 2 shells are by K & Company. I went over them with Copic BV02 to get them the color they are. they were cream with purple strips.
Have a wonderful summer. Edwina
