Vintage Paddle Fan

Closeup of fan.

Hello, Today I am using a digital paper by Create with TLC. You can find it here http://icraftgifts.com/digital-creations-with-tlc.

The 2 pre colored digital images are by Wings of Whimsy. You can find them here https://wingsofwhimsy.wordpress.com/.

The handle came from Hobby Lobby.

I printed off the digital paper on white card stock. I then turned it over and printed the paddle fan template on the back. There are several free ones out there. I cut it out then drew around it onto a piece of chipboard by Recollections. I then cut it out. I creased the seam on both the chipboard and the card stock. making sure the were creased firmly.

Then I glued the cardstock to the chipboard. Next I glued using Mod Podge the stick inside. Then I glued the layers together.

I cut out the wreath and the lady. Then I adhered the lady to the wreath. Placing her head over the wreath and the bottom of here under the wreath. I trimmed off the edges at the bottom so it would not show out from the wreath. Then I used Copics R20, RV25, YG03 to cover any white spots I could not cut out. Now I am ready to mod podge the image to the fan. I added 3 layers of mod podge to the fan to seal all edges, front, and back. I want the fan to be rain proof.

The fan works really great! It will help on a hot summer day.

The fan part is 6 7/8" x 5 1/8".

Thanks for dropping by. Have a happy day! Edwina
